RYAN JAMES SMITH

Ryan James Smith entered eternal rest on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at the age of 31. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Lacombe, LA. Ryan was a 2010 graduate of L. W. Higgins High School and continued his studies at Nunez Community College in Process Technology. Ryan was a loving son, brother, father, uncle, and friend. He lived life to the fullest! It was always a good time filled with laughs when he was around. Ryan was the life of the party! He was a protector, a provider and as his sisters would call him “a big ‘little’ brother.” He was our Chip, and he will be dearly missed, loved, and cherished. Loving father of King, Caylee, Carter, Kye, Christian, and Ariah. Beloved son of James and Trena Smith. Grandson of Aline Hill and the late Raymond Hill, Sr., Edward Smith, and Mayola Smith.  Devoted brother of Cheryl, Jennifer, Ashley, and Bria; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.  Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Living the Word International and neighboring churches are invited to attend The Celebration of Life at Living the Word International, 2528 Old Spanish Trail, Slidell, LA on Friday, May 17, 2024, at 10:00a.m.
