RUTH MARIE THIBODEAUX

Ruth Marie Johnson-Thibodeaux entered into eternal rest at Ochsner Medical Center Main Campus on Monday, November 4, 2024, at the age of 78. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Ruth was a 1964 graduate of George Washington Carver High School and a 1966 graduate of Jefferson Parish Trade School. After graduation she began a career as a Licensed Practical Nurse and was employed with Flint Goodridge Hospital, F. Edward Hebert Hospital, and Ochsner Medical Center Westbank, from which she retired after many years of dedicated service. Loving mother Keith, Craig, Raynard, Jovonna, and the late Mark Kenric Thibodeaux. Daughter of the late Raymond Johnson, Sr. and Dorothy Carter Johnson. Beloved sister of Raymond Johnson, Jr., Clifton (Roxsanne) Johnson, Doris Martin, Carolyn Johnson, and Sandra Johnson. Also cherishing her memories are 13 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe Street, Gretna, LA on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
