ROSE S. ALLEN

Rose S. Allen entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 11, 2021, at the age of 66.  She was a native New Orleans, LA and resident of Harvey, LA. Rose was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High and Charity School of Nursing. Rose served in the United States Navy Reserve in the Persian Gulf. She was a retired registered nurse with Charity Hospital and DHH. Devoted mother Randall Weber, Kelsey Webster, and the late Renata Weber, and Ryan Weber.  Daughter of the late David Singleton, Sr. and Agnes T. James. Granddaughter of the late Yeve Toussaint and Adele Joubert. Sister of David Singleton, Michael Singleton, and Cassandra E. Matthews, also survived by 4 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring are invited to attend the Funeral Service at St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church 6223 6^th Ave. Marrero, LA on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Edward Joseph, III officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery- Avondale, LA. Arrangements by Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA.
