ROSALIE MCGINNIS CLAYTON

Rosalie McGinnis Clayton, age 80, entered into eternal rest at JoEllen Smith Living Center on Monday, October 3, 2022. She was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA (Westbank). Rosalie attended L. B. High School and was a retired Domestic Housekeeper. Beloved wife of the late Charles C. Clayton. Loving mother of Linda (Dennis) Richards, Mary McGinnis (William), Thomas McGinnis, Betty (John) Hall, JoAnn Jordan, and the late Debra Johnson. Daughter of the late Jake and Irene McGinnis. Sister of Larry McGinnis, Gloria Ross, Rosamary Bright, and the late Betty Goffner, Octavia Johnson, Brenda Hodges, Lucille, Delores, Patricia, Harry and Jake McGinnis, Jr. Also cherishing her memories are 17 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Life Center Cathedral and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at Life Center Cathedral, 2100 Ames Blvd., Marrero, LA on Monday, October 10, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Bishop J. D. Wiley Taylor, officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the church. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA.
