Robert Clarence Lloyd entered into eternal rest at his residence on Thursday, August 12, 2021, at the age of 73. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Robert was employed as a laborer with Roadway Express for 7 years. He was a graduate of L B Landry High School and served his country in the United State Marines Corps for 10 years. Beloved husband of Ruth Johnson. Devoted father of Darryl Casey, Joslyn, Jacque (Catrina), and Jamila B. Harris, Brandon (Chezzada) Ricard, Damien (Jimeca) Johnson, Whitney (Gary) Gros, Natashia, Michael, and Arielle Johnson. Son of the late Ralph C., Sr. and Edna Lloyd. Grandson of the late Henry, Sr and Amelia Price. Brother of Ralph (Kay) Mark (Lena), Joslyn Lloyd Auston, and the late Barbara M Jones, also survived by 35 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA, LA on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
