Rickie Johnson, Sr.

Rickie “Dap Daddy” Johnson, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his loving family at the age of 68. He was a native and resident of Algiers, LA. Beloved husband of 47 years to Johnnie Jones Johnson. Devoted father of Ann (Rodney), Max, Sr. (Lakita), and Rickie, Jr., Loving grandfather of Brittany, Max Jr., Andrew, Kobe, Zuri “Belle”, David, Kyla, and Jael. Son of the late Ernest, Sr. and Naomi Eskind Johnson. Brother of Barbara Jean (Alex) Wilson and the late Willie, Ernest, Jr., Irvin, Sr., Wilbert, Donald, Bernice and Doris. Nephew of Joseph and Clarence Johnson; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. The family is forever grateful to those who visited and cared for Rickie.
