RAYMOND EDWARD BATISTE

Raymond Edward Batiste departed this life at his residence on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at the age of 52. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Raymond was a graduate of Higgins High School, and attended Northeastern Louisiana University (now Louisiana University at Monroe), where he played football.  He was a former custodian at West Jefferson High School. Loving father of Hysaan Batiste. Grandfather of Aviahna Batiste. Beloved son of Clinton Batiste II and Joyce Batiste. Grandson of the late Clinton Batiste I. Raymond is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
