RAYMOND CHARLES ALLEN, JR.

Raymond Charles Allen, Jr. departed this life at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at the age 48. He was a native of Marrero, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Raymond was employed with FMT Shipyard and Repair as a machinist. Beloved husband of Adrian Green Allen. Loving father of Raymond, Damond, Darius, Daquel, and Rayel Jackson, Rayone, Raymone, and Raymond Lampkin, Davonte Overtone, Juan Garcia, Marquis, Monty, Santana, and Shaquilla Green, and the late Raquam A. Green. Son of the late Raymond C. Allen, Sr. and Charloria Allen. Brother of Damond (Krystal), and Kerry (Jamie) Allen, Dionne (Shane) Lewis, Raymond (Kaui) Mosby, Aaron Poole, and Tonnisha (Troy) Hobbs, also survived by 20 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friend of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Thompson Temple Church of God in Christ and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Thompson Temple Church of God in Christ 1515 Whitney Ave. Gretna, LA on Friday, April 19, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Brian Walker officiating; Pastor Keith Thornton, Sr., Host Pastor. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.  Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA.
