PRESS SHORTER, III

Press Shorter, III departed this life at Rapides Regional Medical Center on Thursday April 4, 2024, at the age of 32. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Press was a self-employed mechanic. Loving father of Mila Shorter and Brooklyn Singleton.  Beloved son of Ella Shorter and the late Press Shorter, Jr. Grandson of the late Joseph, Sr. and Ida Butler, Press, Sr. and Estrella Shorter. Brother of Terrell Peterson, Sherina Coleman Morgan, Nicole Shorter Gipson, and the late Rashard Shorter, also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Fischer Community Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Fischer Community Church 1737 L. B. Landry Ave. New Orleans, LA, on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Bishop James Nelson Brown officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above-named church.
