Paul Joseph Higgins departed this life on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at the age of 75.  He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA.  Devoted husband of Brenda “Queen” Davis Higgins.  Loving father of Pernella (the late Ronald) LaFrance, Anne Higgins, Nicole (the late Jude) Briscoe, Bryancha Higgins (Keith) McGinnis, Tynicqua and Paul Jannet Higgins. Grandfather of Ja’von Gomez, Shone Mayfield, Jude Jr., and Jandon Briscoe, Keiara Franklin and Braelin Winchester.  Great grandfather of Jovontae Gomez.  Son of the late Odile Williams. Grandson of the late Helen Green; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 230 MONROE STREET GRETNA, LA on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at 11:00a.m.  Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. until service time.  Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA  To view and sign the guestbook, please go to www.davismortuaryservice.com.
