PATRICIA ANN THOMPSON

Patricia Ann “Patsy” Thompson entered peacefully into eternal rest at West Jefferson Medical Center on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at the age of 72. She was a native and resident of Marrero, LA. “Patsy”, as she was affectionately known to family and friends, was employed as a Cook/Caterer. She will be remembered for exceptional cooking and feeding the entire community.   Beloved daughter of the late Charles Bazile and Nancy Anderson. Granddaughter of the late Charles Morton, Rachel Morton, Joseph Bazile, and Puliska F. Bazile. Loving companion of 33 years to Frank Bartley. Sister of the late Patrick A. Bazile and Charlene Bazile. Niece of Brenda Davis and the late Louise Paul and Josephine Harris. Godmother of Kenneth Harris.  Former wife of the late Louis “Plute” Thompson. Patricia is also survived by her uncle-in-law Joseph Paul, Sr., who was instrumental in her rearing, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
