PATRICIA ANN WILLIAMS HOCKINS

Patricia Ann Williams Hockins departed this life at her residence on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at the age of 73. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Patrica was a graduate of Lincoln High School. She was a retired cashier of Casey Jones Grocery and Rouses. Beloved mother of Cherie Ashley and Kacie Hockins. Daughter of the late Alvin Williams, Doris B. Ponson, and Arthur J. Ponson, Sr. Granddaughter of the late Harriett Lavigne Butler. Sister of Arthur J. (Roslyn) Ponson, Jr., Tommy I. Ponson, Deanna W. (Rudy) Smith, Harrietta P. Tipado, also survived by 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church 922 Estalote Ave. Harvey, LA on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Louis Harrison officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the church.
