OTHA LEE TERRELL III

Otha Lee Terrell III, age 42, entered into eternal rest at his residence on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Slidell, LA. Otha was a graduate of John Ehret High School, Class of 2000. He served his country as a Flight Deckhand with the United States Navy. Beloved husband of Dontrelle E. Thorton Terrell. Loving father of Otha Lee IV, India Monet’ and Asia Denise Nichelle Terrell. Bonus father Bria Wilson and the late Damone Wilson. Son of Otha Lee Terrell, Jr. and Toni Moland Terrell. Grandson of the late Otha, Sr. and Grace Terrell, Louis and Malvania McElwee. Brother of Nichole (Michael) Ogbeide and Eric Terrell. Son-in-law of Donald E. Thornton, Sr. and Tanya Jones Thornton. Brother-in-law of Donald E. Thornton, Jr. and Derek (Ariel) Thornton; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Living the Word International Ministries, Olive Branch Baptist Church, Upper Room Bible Church, Spring Creek Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches; members of John Ehret Class of 2000; Alumni of Alcee Fortier High School; employees of Chervon Oronite Co. LLC, AYA Healthcare, Barr Electric, All State Electric, St. Charles Surgical Hospital, and Dickey’s Barbecue are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Living the Word International Ministries, 2528 Old Spanish Trail, Slidell, LA on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Lawrence Weathersby, Sr., officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the church. Interment: Mt.
