NANCY MAE ANDERSON

Nancy Anderson, age 87, transitioned to her heavenly resting place at her residence on Thursday, June 3, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was a native of Vacherie, LA and resident of Marrero, LA. Nancy was a retired assistant cook with the Jefferson Parish School Board.  She was a faithful member of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church of Marrero, LA, under the leadership of Pastor Thomas J. Brown, Jr. Nancy will forever be remembered for her zest for life and her loving and caring spirit for family and friends. Loving and devoted mother of Patricia Thompson. Daughter of the late Earl Anderson and Rachel Morton. Sister of Brenda Davis and the late Charlie Morton, Josephine Harris, and Louise Paul. Nancy is also survived by her devoted friend Andrew Delatte, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. The family would like to express special thanks to West Jefferson Media Center and Bayside Health Care Center.
