Myron Anthony Harper departed this life at Ochsner Medical Center Main Campus on Monday, August 2, 2021 at the age of 56. He was a native and resident of Marrero, LA. Myron was a 1983 graduate of West Jefferson High School. He continued his studies at Nicholls State University, where he pledged Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. Myron was currently employed as a Partsman with Hugg and Hall Equipment. He was a former employee of Cummins Mid South and Reagan Equipment. Beloved husband of Tanya C. Harper. Loving father of Quentin Harper, Ebony Wilson, Courtney Harper, and Ashlin Harper. Son of Dorothy S. Harper and the late L.J. Harper, Jr. Grandson of the late L. J. Harper, Sr., Camille Harper, Charles and Elvera Smith. Brother of Danielle H. Weber; also survived 3 grandchildren and a host other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Mount Calvary International Worship Center and all neighboring churches; employees of Hugg and Hall Equipment; members of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Mount Calvary International Worship Center, 1600 Westwood Drive Marrero, LA on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 11:00a.m. Pastor Terry Gullage, Sr., officiating Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the church.
