Moses Gray, Jr. entered into eternal rest at Heart of Hospice of East Jefferson on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at the age of 70 surrounded by his living family. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA Moses was a retired welder, and he loved fishing and boiling his famous seafood. Former husband of the late Brenda Ann Gray. Devoted father of Stacie Gray (Kernell) and Moses T. Gray, Sr. Grandfather of Breionne, Journey, Moses, Jr., Alijah, and Jacolby. Son of the late Moses, Sr. and Albertha Gray. Brother of Pamela Ross, Ursula Jenkins, of Jacksonville, FL., Sullivan (Carolyn), Ronald (Shirley), Rogers (Beverly), and Michael Gray. Nephew of Ophelia Baloney and Wilbert Gray both of Raceland, LA, Close friend of Debbie Hayes, of Chicago, IL., also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers and members of Hosanna Fellowship of Gretna, Second St. John Baptist Church, Little Zion Baptist Church, Mt Hermon Baptist Church all of Avondale, LA and neighboring churches are invited to attend a Public Viewing from 9:00a.m. until 9:50a.m. at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Saturday, February 20, 2021. Followed by a Private Family Service at 10:00a.m. Pastor Alex J. Bellow officiating. Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, LA.
