MONA LISA SIMEON

Mona Lisa Amelia Theresa Simeon, age 72, entered peacefully into eternal rest on Thursday, August 5, 2021. She was a native of Algiers, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Mona Lisa was a graduate of L. B. Landry High School. She was a retired ER Administrative Admit Supervisor of Charity Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Jones, Jr. Loving mother of Jamal (Lachone) Simeon and Jerred (Letitia) Simeon. Daughter of the late Joseph and Bernadette Colar Simeon. Sister of Noel Rivers III and the late Willard Simeon and Adrianne Rivers Thompson. Aunt of the late Nicolette Thompson Grind. Mona Lisa is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, Progressive Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, 1738 L. B. Landry Ave. New Orleans, LA on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Norman Francis, officiating  Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the church.
