MISSELIE CLERMONT

Misselie Clermont departed this life at her residence on Monday, August 26, 2024, at the age of 60. She was a native of Pestel, Haiti and a resident of Harvey, LA. Misselie was employed as a hotel housekeeper. Beloved wife of Franckel Joseph. Devoted mother of Locitho Joseph, Guerda Joseph, Wanto Joseph, Stephanie Joseph, Jason Joseph, and Yasmine Joseph. Stepmother of Judith Joseph. Loving grandmother of Zoey D. Joseph, Aliyana B. Papillon, Taliyah S. Givens, Yvon Papillon, Jr., Nae’lah M. Joseph, and the late Javon Papillon. Step grandmother of Cendy Jean Baptiste, Cendya Jean Baptiste, Jemal Jean Baptiste, Brian Jean Baptiste, Williams McFarland, and Jude Joseph. Daughter of Gremene Touissant and the late Clenord Clermont. Sister of Yonel Fremont, Francois Clermont, Edou Clermont, Dady Clermont, Marie Fremont Derosier, and Rita Clermont Joseph. Niece of Ydenioi Clermont Charles, Side Clermont, and the late Dasa Clermont, Clermont Fils, Marrianie, Lisis, and Elizabeth Clermont. Mother-in-law of Danielle Lamark Joseph, Shanae Bazile, Alexis McCord, Yvon Papillon, and Taj Givins; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Church of Abundant Life and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Church of Abundant Life, 2301 Par 3 Drive, Harvey, LA on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 11:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the church.
