MILDRED WALTER

Mildred Walter, age 83, entered peacefully into eternal rest to become one of God’s heavenly angels on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. She was a native of Wisner, LA, a former resident of New Orleans, LA and presently residing in Round Rock, TX. Mildred was a proud graduate of Wisner Gilbert High School and Delgado Community College. Beloved wife of the late Robert Walter. Loving mother of Natasha Walter, Emanuel Walter, Charles Walter, Shirley Walter, Martha Walter, and the late Peter Roy Walter. Daughter of the late George Spears, Sr. and Christina Douglas. Mildred was preceded in death by her siblings. Also cherishing her memories are a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe Street, Gretna, LA on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 9:00a.m. Bishop J. Douglas Wiley of Life Center Cathedral, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the parlor. Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, LA.
