Michael Francis

Michael Francis entered into eternal rest  at his residence on Friday , March 29, 2019 at the age of 63. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA.  Michael was a former employed with Avondale Industries as a carpenter / painter. He was a graduate of Abramson High School Class of 1973 and he attended Southern University at New Orleans, and LA Technical College. Beloved husband of Donna W. Francis. Devoted father of Michael L. Francis, Donovan R. Francis, Brandon M. Francis, and Mylan L. Francis.  Son of the late Leola Francis. Grandson of the late Morris Francis, Sr., Mary Francis, and Louella Griffin. Brother of Gary Francis, Linda Cook, and the late Richard Francis, also survived by 4 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of New Hope Baptist Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Memorial  Service at New Hope Baptist Church 1807 John Raphael Way  New Orleans, LA  on Friday, April 5, 2019 at 11:00a.m. Pastor Jammal Weathersby officiating.
