Michael Anthony Forest entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 10, 2021 at the age of 59. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Mike as he was affectionately known by family was a graduate of L. B. Landry High School and employed as a general laborer. Devoted father of Iesha Wells, Michealyn Tyler, Bryanna Jarrow. and the late Michael Landry. Son of the late Johnny Pickett, Sr. and Florence P. Lewis. Brother of Vernie C. Forest, Jr., Jason Forest, Vanessa Forest, Andrella F. Williams, Claire F. Ford, and the late Barbara Tassin, Tyrone, Clinton, Norman, Gregory, and Cornelius Forest. Companion of Tasha Landry, also survived by 5 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
