MICHAEL CHARLES EVANS, JR.

Michael Charles Evans, Jr. entered into eternal rest at University Medical Center on Monday, September 19, 2022, at the age of 43. He was a native and resident on New Orleans LA. Michael was educated at LSU, and he served his country in the United States Navy for 7 years as a Patrol Squadron and E4 Petty Officer.  He received the National Defense Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, and Armed Forces Service Medal. Beloved son of Rosemary Evans and the late Michael Charles Evans, Sr. Stepson of Leo Perryman. Grandson of the late Harold, Sr. and Bibiana Evans, and Juanita Brown, also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friend of the family, also priest and parishioners of Holy Name of Mary Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Name of Mary Church 400 Verrett St. New Orleans, LA on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 11:00a.m. Father Eugene Jacques Celebrant.
