MELVIN JOEL GREEN

Melvin Joel Green departed this life at University Medical Center on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at the age of 45. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Melvin attended O. Perry Walker High School, and he was a former welder with Charlotte Bobcats Arena and Avondale Shipyard. Beloved husband of Tiffany Cullins Green. Devoted father of Jarell Cullins, Jamel Green, Keyana Cullins, and the late Kiara Cullins, and Melvin Cullins. Devoted son of Melvinlean Green and the late Joseph Green, Sr. Grandson of the late Cleo and Vera Swangain, Jim and Ora Green. Brother of Jerome Green, Jimmy Green, and the late Johnny Cleo Green, and Joseph Green, Jr. Melvin is also survived by 3 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above-named parlor.
