MELVIN JULIUS CULLINS

Melvin “Melo” Julius Cullins departed this life on Friday, June 16, 2023, at the age of 28. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Melvin attended Orleans Parish Public Schools and A.C. Reynolds High School in North Carolina. Loving father of Melo Cullins, and Meloni Cullins. Beloved son of Melvin Green and Tiffany Cullins. Brother of Jamel Cullins, Jarrell Cullins, Keyana Cullins, and the late Kiara Cullins. Grandson of Melvinlean Green, and the late Otecia Cullins, Julius Dalton, and Joseph Earl Green, Sr. Nephew of Jimmy (Malise) Green, Jerome Green, Sajaka Cullins, and the late Johnny Green, and Joseph Earl Green, Jr. Melvin is also survived by his companion Walmecka “MeMe” Lee, and a host of other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expwy., Marrero, LA on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above-named parlor.  Interment: Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery-Westwego, LA.
