MARYANN BAPTISTE BRIDGES

MaryAnn Baptiste Bridges entered eternal rest on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at the age of 77. She was a native of Vacherie, LA and a resident of New Orleans, LA. MaryAnn was a graduate of Lincoln High School, and she continued her studies at Southern University of Louisiana earning a degree in Social Studies and Special Education. She was an educator with the Jefferson Parish Public School System and retired from L.W. Higgins High School. Daughter of the late Sidney and Lillian Baptiste. Sister of the late Delores Baptiste, Marion B. Smith, and Wilton Williams. Aunt of Michelle Erin Smith, and Michael Joseph Smith. Great aunt of Marcus Joseph Smith. Niece of the late Emelda Lee Sewart. Sister-in-law of Joseph Smith. MaryAnn is also survived by a host of other relatives, and friends.
