MARY ARD SKINNER

Mary Ard Skinner departed this life at West Jefferson Medical Center on Thursday, November 23, 2023, at the age of 77. She was a native of Fluker, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. Mary was a retired Assistant Manager of Catherine’s Clothing Store. Beloved wife of the late Romalious Skinner. Loving mother of Marva Skinner (Andrea) Edgar, Rosalyn Skinner, and Theresa Skinner Crier. Daughter of the late Johnny Ard and Mary Ross Ard. Sister of Louvader Evans, Rev. Mattie Carmon, Ruth Johnson, Bernice Ard, and the late Johnnie Mae Hewitt, Michael Ard, Lula Mae Smith, and TJ Ard. Mary is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.  Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, LA.
