Mary Alice Jason

Mary Alice Daniel Jason entered into eternal rest at Tulane Medical Center on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at the age of 56. She was a native and resident of Gretna, LA. Mary was a graduate of John Ehret High School and attended Delgado Community College where she studied Hospitality Management. She was a retired Supervisor of the Jefferson Parish Water Department. Loving mother of Cristal (Ernest Sr.) Robert, Angel (Larry Sr.) Hall, Robert Jason, Joshua Jason, Danielle (Maurice) DeJean, and the late Bobby Jason. Beloved daughter of Mildred Ann Daniel and the late Edric Dillard Daniel, Sr. Sister of Edric Daniel, Catherine Davillier, Cynthia Stevens, Erica Hall, Annabelle Webb, and Ava Daniel-Johnson. Former wife of Robert Jason; also survived by 10 grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Crescent Baptist Church, Greater St. Mary Baptist Church, Church of the King, Fellowship Baptist Church of Metairie and all neighboring churches; employees of Jefferson Parish Department of Water, Ochsner Medical Center, Rooms to Go (Gretna), DD’S Discount, Planet Fitness (Metairie) and Chronos Body Health (Metairie); faculty and students of Xavier University of Louisiana are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Greater St. Mary Baptist Church, 1533 Horace St., New Orleans, LA on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 10:00a.m.  Pastor Dean Robinson, host pastor; Pastor Brent Givens, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the church.
