MARY ANN WILLIAMS

Mary Ann “Poochie” Williams gained her wings at West Jefferson Medical Center on Saturday, December  21, 2019 at the age of 73. She was a native of Westwego, LA and a lifetime resident of Marrero, LA. Beloved mother of Todd and Brian Williams, Tammy (Robert) Gumm, Sr, and the late Carl Williams. Grandmother of  Adamnisha, Carletta, and Tatiana Williams, Robert, Jr., and Tambra Gumms and the late Ri’hem Gumms. Great grandmother of Kareem Stewart, Jr. Daughter of the late Willie Williams and Eilsie May Preston. Granddaughter of the late Eilsie Payne, Dora Preston, and Rudy Preston.  Sister of Bobby (Kelly) Williams, Jerome, and Angela, Williams, Albert Preston, and the late Shirley Parker, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Aubrey Wallace officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named parlor. Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery- Westwego, LA.
