MARY LOUISE ALEXANDER

Mary Louise Alexander entered into eternal rest at Ochsner Baptist Medical Center on Wednesday June 21, 2023, at the age of 77. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Mary was a graduate of Lincoln High School, and she was a retired cosmetologist. Beloved mother of Dwayne Alexander, Dearvis Alexander, and the late Steven Alexander.  Daughter of the late Patrick and Gladys B. Hawkins. Sister of the late Laverne Hawkins, Frank Hawkins, Patrick Hawkins, Jr., Bernadette McCalab, Jerry Hawkins, and Jacqueline Firven, also survived by 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church, United Fellowship Full Gospel Baptist Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church 3512 US Highway 90 Avondale, LA., on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at 10:00a.m.  Rev. Dr. Darold A. Ingram, Jr. officiating.
