Marshall Jackson Green entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 20,2024 at home surrounded by family and caregivers. Wife of the late Junius Green, Jr. Devoted mother of Joy Lynn Green-Gray, Jemeel Green, and the late JeDawn Green. Mother-in-law of Easton Gray, Jr. Daughter of the late Gertrude Jasmine Jackson and Lawrence Jackson, Sr. Sister of Janice Pruitt of Gretna, LA, Paulette Gray of Atlanta, GA, and the late Jessie Mae Arties, Lorraine Hughes, Lawrence, Jr., and Obie, Sr. Sister-in-law of Easton Gray, Sr, of Gretna, LA. Eunice Jackson of Marrero, LA, Debra Jackson of Gretna, LA, and Durrell Green of North Carolina. Loving grandmother of Odell Hardy of Virginia Beach, VA, Jamal Hardy of Elizabethtown, KY, Jada and Jaelyn Green of Elizabethtown, Ky, Easton, III of Louisville, KY, Chauntreniece Jordan of Metairie, LA, and Elijah Gray of Elizabethtown, KY, also survived by 5 great grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Shiloh Baptist Church of Gretna, St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, Sunrise Baptist Church, Life Center Full Gospel Church, and all neighboring churches; employees of Meadowcrest Living Center, Chateau Living Center, Manhattan Guesthouse, and Woldenburg Village are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Shiloh Baptist Church of Gretna, 723 Magellan St., Gretna LA on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
