Marrian Powell Evans

Marrian Joyce Powell Evans entered peacefully into eternal rest on Monday, September 2, 2019 at the age of 65. She was a native of Greenville, Ms, a former resident of Algiers, LA and a presently residing in Marrero, LA. Marrian was a graduate of O. Perry Walker High School and Isaac Delgado Community College. She was a retired employee of Louisiana Department of Motor Vehicles. Loving mother of Semika Evans. Devoted grandmother of Brisha Evans, Kindell Walker, De’Kayyla Evans, Zemarria Canty, and the late Mylah Reign Evans. Great grandmother of Ky’lei and Kaylynn Walker. Beloved daughter of David Powell and the late Mattie Davis; also survived by a host of sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.  Private Services Were Held.
