MARCUS LYDELL MAGEE

Marcus “Mark” Lydell Magee entered into eternal rest at his residence on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at the age of 49. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. Marcus was a 1993 graduate of L. W. Higgins High School and employed at Folgers Coffee as a Warehouse Worker. Loving father of Jamari Markell (Shawnay) Magee. Devoted grandfather of Jelan and Jianni Magee. Beloved son of the late Gary, Sr. and Josephine Magee. Brother of Angela (Timmie, Sr.) Crossgrow, Kerry (Shawanda) Magee, Gary, Jr. (Adrienne) Magee, Joan Sinegal, Sylvia, Tressie, Michael, and Gary Taylor, and the late Lorraine Magee. Godson of Joycelyn Veals; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
