Mack Allen, Sr. entered eternal rest at his residence on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at the age of 81. He was a native of Burnside, LA and a resident of Algiers, LA. Mack served his country in the United States Army for over 22 years and received many commendations including the Purple Heart. He was employed as a mail carrier with the United States Post Office for over 20 years retiring from both. Beloved husband of the late Lois B. Allen. Devoted father of Kevin Allen, Donna McDonald of AK, Michael Allen, Monique Coler, Mack Allen, Jr., Marsheilah Lyons, and Annias Allen. Son of the late Arthur and Grace Allen. Brother of the late Betha White, Sarah Vincent, and Arthur Allen, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time.
