LYNN LEON CHARLES, JR

Lynn Leon Charles, Jr. entered eternal rest at JoEllen Smith Convalescent Center on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at the age of 58. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Lynn was educated in the Jefferson Parish School System and he was a self-employed carpenter. Husband of Carol B. Charles. Beloved son of Barbara Ford Charles and the late Lynn Leon Charles, Sr. Grandson of the late Cora Bell Anderson, Howard and Dorothy Charles. Brother of Byron Charles, Sr., Shauna R. Charles, Barbara Lynn (Tyrone) Williams, Angela V. Charles, Dana (Patrick) Davis, and Shalita (Andrew) Robinson. Nephew of the late Annette J. Williams, Artemese A. King, and Howard R. Charles, Sr., also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Regular Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Celebration at Regular Baptist Church, 901 5th Street Gretna, LA on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Pastor T.
