LUCELLA MCCALEBB

Lucella McCalebb entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at the age of 88. She was a native of Indianola, MS and a resident of New Orleans, LA. Lucille as she was affectionately known by family and friends was employed as a retired nurse. Devoted mother of Minnie Henderson, Patricia, Ruth, Latrice, Albert, Sr., Leo, and Lester McCalebb, Sr., Michelle (Palmas, Jr. ) Frank, and the late Sylester McCalebb. Grandmother of the late Albert, Jr., and Lorraine McCalebb. Daughter of the late Clifford and Mable McCalebb. Granddaughter of the late Eddie and Barbara Finklea. Sister of Ruth Cain of Baton Rouge, LA and the late Clifford McCalebb, Jr., also survived by 29 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Fischer Community Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Fischer Community Church 1737 L. B. Landry Ave. New Orleans, LA on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Bishop James Nelson Brown Host Pastor-Pastor Harold Goodloe officiating.
