LOUIS BANKS

Louis Banks entered eternal rest on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at the age of 79. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Louis attended Lincoln High School, and he was formerly employed as a field technician with Avondale Shipyard. Father of Shawaine Banks, Charlotte Harris, Marlon Harris, Craig Harris, Randy Harris, Damien Harris, Brandon Harris, Jarmal Harris, Colin Harris, Lamar Harris, Anthony Harris, Lashondra Harris, Janae Harris, and Ke’von Harris. Grandfather of the late Jarmal Washington and Ja’Nyiah Harris. Son of the late Frank Banks, Sr. and Beatrice Robinson. Brother of June Antonie, Janice Lee, Frank Banks, Robert Banks, David Robinson and the late Joseph Banks, and Herman Robinson. Companion of the late Barbara A. Harris. Louis is also survived by 30 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service at 6820 Westbank Expwy. Marrero, LA on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the above-named parlor. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery Avondale, LA.
