LOLA GASTON SEMIEN

Lola Gaston Semien entered eternal rest on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at the age of 64. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Terrytown, LA. Lola was a graduate of L. W. Higgins School, and a former employee of West Jefferson Medical Center. Beloved wife John Wilson Semien. Loving mother of Ronnie Trufant, Sr., Tamika Trufant, Jaylanda Semien, Ricky Bragg, Pilon Bragg, and the late Craig Trufant, Jr.  Daughter of the late Rayfield Gaston, Jr. and Rose Lee Walker. Grandmother of the late Roman Trufant. Sister of Rayfield Gaston, III, Garfield Gaston, Lionel Gaston, Troy Gaston, Sr., Nancy Boyd, Margaret Brown, Helen Dumas, Sherry Nichols, Doris Gaston, Dianne Castille, Carolyn Hensley, Donna Gaston, Antoinette Gaston, Rosaray Foster, and the late Sherman Gaston, also survived by 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Friday, February 9, 2024, from 3:00p.m. until 5:00p.m. Pastor John Mason, of White Chapel B.C. officiating.
