LOIS PALMER SUMNER

Lois Palmer Sumner entered into eternal rest on Sunday March 21, 2021 at the age of 80. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident Marrero, LA. Devoted mother of Dana Sumner, and the late Rocquell S. Boyd, Walter J. Sumner, Jr., and Jeanette Sumner. Grandmother of Cody Crystal, and Bryan Sumner. Daughter of the late Alfred and Estella Smith Palmer.  Sister of John Wayne Palmer, Brenda Johnson, and the late Alfred Palmer, Craig Palmer, Emmanuel Palmer, and Gwendolyn Dixon, also survived by 4 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren, sisters in law, brothers in law other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Greater St. John Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Home Going Service at Greater St. John Baptist Church 2823 A Privateer Blvd. Barataria, LA on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 10:00a.m.  Pastor Harold Clark officiating.  Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the church.  Interment: Bailey Cemetery-Barataria, LA.
