Lionel Larvadain, Sr.

Lionel Larvadain, Sr. entered into eternal rest at West Jefferson Medical Center on Monday, March 18, 2019 at the age of 81. He was a native of Donaldsonville, LA and a resident of Westwego, LA. Lionel was a retired machine operator with Acme Boxing Company. Beloved husband of Agnes Williams Larvadain. Devoted father of James Pettis, Jr. and Lionel (Rekeitha) Larvadain, Jr. Son of the late Joseph and Daisy Gibson Larvadain. Grandson of the late Walmsley and Emma Gibson. Brother of Mary Lee Larvadain and the late Oscar, Edward, Willie, Joseph, Melvin, Norman, Walmsley, and Odessa Larvadain, Daisy Marzett, and Hazel Mae Williams. Son in law of the late Irene Williams. Brother in law of Lloyd Williams, also survived by 13 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, other relatives and friends.Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Pilgrim Progress Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
