LIONEL HELTON

Lionel Helton departed this life at Touro Infirmary Hospital on Friday, April 19, 2024, at the age of 70. He was a native of New Orleans, and a resident of Marrero, LA. Lionel was educated in the Jefferson Parish School System. He was a retired Building Engineer and a member of the Mellow Fellow Baseball Social Club. Beloved father of Lionel Williams and Bryan Williams. Son of the late Louis Taylor and Ruth Brown Helton. Brother of Louis Helton, Annette H. Hagan, Darlene H. Torry, and the late Loretta Johnson, Evelyn Young, Melody Batiste, Joseph Helton, Phillip Helton, and Steve Helton, also survived by 4 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
