LIONEL BOUTON, JR.

Lionel Bouton, Jr. age 77, entered peacefully into eternal rest at his residence on Monday, December 9, 2024. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Lionel was a graduate of George Washington Carver Senior High School, and he attended Sidney Collier Vocational School. He was a retired First Class Pipefitter of Avondale Shipyard. Beloved husband of Marion Bouton. Devoted father of Farrow (Demetria) Bouton and Rynell (Kerri) Bouton. Loving grandfather of Javan, Chancie, Falynn, Payton, and Chase. Son of the late Lionel Bouton, Sr. and Rosemary Bouton. Brother of Cedric (Laverne) Bouton, Brenda Narcisse, Lenore Jackson, Vicki (Vaughn) Kelly, Connie (Anthony) Jones, and the late Clifford (Ellen) Bouton. Lionel is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family and employees of ASM/Superdome, Windsor Court Hotel, and Huntington Ingalls Shipyard are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
