Linzy Alou Antoine, affectionately known as Linzy Boo, was peacefully called home on Monday, August 5, 2024, after a long battle with heart disease, at the age of 56. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Linzy was formerly employed with the Port of New Orleans. He was passionate about family, boiling seafood, and had a profound love for horses. Linzy’s personality brought joy to everyone he encountered with his canny sense of humor. Husband of Terracita Crockett. Devoted father of Krystal Walker, Ronald Walker, Kyona Lemon, and Ke’re Antoine. Bonus father of Chantell Crockett. Loving grandfather of Keyon Lemon, Brooklynn Johnson, Briya Johnson, Ronald Walker, Jr., Carey Arceneaux, Jr., Kah’Ree Antoine, Mason Walker, and the late Ka’Hyree Guess. Beloved son of Joann Frazier and the late Lawrence “Bo Jack” Antoine. Stepson of Lovie Frazier. Grandson of the late Milton and Evelyn Antoine and Lawrence Rogers, Anna Mae Jones. Brother of Trynitha Fulton and Chinelle Thomas. Stepbrother of Jandra Dunson, Doris Frazier, Jalisa Frazier, Lovie Frazier, Jr., Lawrence Frazier, Mac Osborne, Lovie Osborne, and Reginald Osborne. Uncle of Jason William, Jr., Jasmine Thomas, and Taj’Reik Williams. Godson of the late Evelyn “Elaine” Antoine Rose. Godfather of Kidrika Nix and Davantai Hester, Sr. Brother-in-law of the late Jason Williams, Sr. Linzy is also survived by a host of other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Holy Trinity Christian Baptist Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend a Memorial Celebration of Life Service at Holy Trinity Christian Baptist Church, 1727 Erie St., New Orleans, LA on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 10:00a.m. Bishop Patrick Leonard, officiating.
