LEROY FRANCIS

Leroy Francis entered peacefully into eternal rest in the loving company of his family on Friday, November 3, 2023, at the age of 71. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Marrero, LA. Leroy was a 1972 graduate of West Jefferson High School. He retired in 2014 as a master pipefitter and welder with Hovensa Oil Corporation in St. Croix, U. S. Virgin Islands. He was a member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Local Union 60 of New Orleans, LA. Beloved husband of Jacqueline Mary Weber Francis. Loving father of Torione Francis Young and Pamela Francis (Keenan, Sr.) White. Grandfather of Amilian, Keenan, Jr., and Larry, III. Son of Odessa Mayze Francis Mock and the late August Francis. Stepson of the late Odis Mock. Brother of Juanita (Robert) Dembo, Osannah (Phillip, Sr.) Harrison, Gregory Francis, Odis Cordell Mock, and the late James (Shelia) Mayze, and Arlene Lewis. Nephew of Idella Mayze, Shirley (Bruce) Davis, Jo Ann Williams, and Cecile Perry. Leroy is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expwy. Marrero, LA on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at 10:00 a.m.  Rev.
