Leroy “Roy” Clofer, Jr., age 52, transitioned peacefully into eternal rest on Thursday, February 17, 2022. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Leroy was employed as a self-contractor, and D.J., he also had a love for Louisiana Inc. Car Show, football, and basketball. Father of Trai Williams, Daijah Clofer, Brad Stevenson, Donnie Jacks, and Ryan Gratz. Beloved son of Rosemary Clofer, and the late Leroy Clofer, Sr. Brother of Donald Coleman, Debra (Kurt) Dixon, Mario (Chameka) Clofer, and Byron K. Clofer. Grandson of the late Willard Clofer, Sr., and Luverta Gordon Clofer. Leroy is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Friday, February 25, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above-named parlor.
