LEONA MAE RICHARDSON

Leona Mae Narcisse Richardson, age 76, transitioned peacefully on Saturday, June 18, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was a native of St John the Baptist Parish and a resident of Avondale, LA. Beloved wife of the late Curtis Richardson, Sr. Loving mother of Darnell Richardson Ard, Curtis Richardson, Jr., Marvin and Christopher Richardson, Sr. Daughter of the late Curbit Narcisse, Sr. and Lodia Figaro Narcisse. Sister of Curbit Narcisse, Jr., Clarence Narcisse, Nelson Narcisse, Sr., Lynwood Narcisse, Sr., Dorothy Mae Jackson, Linda Wilder, and the late Lodia Garrison, Rosemary Mitchell, and Thomas Narcisse, Sr. Leona is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Second Salvation Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at Second Salvation Baptist Church, 212 Marrero Street Bridge City, LA on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
