LEONA `SMITH CHRISTOFF

Leona Smith Christoff received her wing on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at the age of 89. She was a native of Waggaman, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. Beloved wife of the late Malgie Willie Christoff, Sr. Devoted mother of Shelia Christoff, Mary Ann Greene, Malgie Willie Christoff, Jr., Lendell (Tammy) Smith, Rodney Smith, and the late Patricia Christoff. Daughter of the late Clarence, Sr. and Cora Smith. Sister of the late Clarence Smith, Jr. and Willie Smith, Sr. Best friend and cousin of Margaret Williams, Elizabeth Avery, and Tammy Williams, also survived by 18 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Second St. John Missionary Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Charlie Davis officiating.
