Leo D. Oliver

Leo Dwight Oliver departed this life at University Medical Center on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at the age of 59. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Bridge City, LA. Leo retired from Huntington Ingalls Shipyard (formerly Avondale Shipyard) after 26 years as a Joiner/Insulator. Beloved husband of Sharon Oliver. Loving father of Samantha Jones, Dwight Walker, Ganira Walker, and Latira Walker. Stepfather of Deonda Jackson, Ferdinand, Tanya, Chantell and Roy Payne. Son of the late Gilbert Coleman and Louvenia Oliver. Stepson of Ruben Saulsbury. Brother of Vernon Oliver, Micheal Bailey, Ruben David Oliver, Cheryl L. Biggins, Linda F. Oliver, Cassandra Allen, and the late Edgar Ikard, Frank Donald Oliver, Sr., and Jacqueline B. Oliver. Godbrother of Ronald Phillip; also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
