Lawrence Ussin, Sr.

Lawrence Ussin, Sr., age 80, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 28, 2019. He was a native of Algiers, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. Lawrence was the owner and operator of L&L Trucking Company. Beloved husband of Lucille J. Ussin. Loving father of Lawrence Ussin, Jr., Patricia Ussin, Denise Ussin, Pamela Patterson, and Michael Ussin. Son of the late Lloyd and Leola Ussin. Brother of Thomas Ussin, Shirley Barnes, Dolores Ruiz, Florence Brown, Helen Ruiz, and the late Clementine, Floyd, Freddie, Charles, Edward, Lionel, Clarence, and Leroy; also survived by 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Providence Baptist Church, St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, 1738 L. B. Landry Ave., New Orleans, LA on Monday, June 10, 2019 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Norman Francis, host pastor; Pastor Lawrence St. Cyre, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
