Lawrence Hensley, Jr. departed this life on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at University Medical Center at the age or 55. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Lawrence attended John Ehret High School and was employed as a cook. Loving fatherof Ashley Carter, Keshaun Francois, Lawrence Dana, Kendrick Francois, Jonathan, Jonieshia, and Torrence Harper. Grandfather of the late Ahliyah Carter. Son of Lawrence Hensley, Sr. and the late Augustine Hensley. Grandson of the late Nelson and Clematine Bazile, Plesant and Mable Hensley. Brother of Ulyesses Hensley Azelea Fazande, Pamela Cruz, Shelia Miller, Australia Campbell, Priscilla Boudreaux, and the late Troy Hensley. Uncle of the late DeShontae Jones; also survived by 13 grandchildren, and a host of aunt uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
