Lawrence “Sam” Francois entered eternal rest on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at the age of 37. He was a native of Gretna, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Lawrence was educated in the Jefferson Parish School System. He was employed as a cook with Wing Zone. Fiancé of Shameka Poole. Loving father of Law’ryal Francois, Law’vonta, Law’drick, and the late Lawrence Francois, Jr. Beloved son of Sherise Harry Williams and the late Lawrence Hensley. Stepson of Harry Williams. Grandson of the late Edward Johnson, and Joyce Johnson. Brother of Kedrick (Rosa) Francois, Jonathan Harper, Torrence Harper, Dana Francois, Keshun Francois, Joneisha Harper, and Ashley Carter. Nephew of the late Vanessa, Keith, and Reginald Francois., also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of New Zion Christian Center, and surrounding churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at New Zion Christian Center, 5040 Taravella Rd. Marrero, LA on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above-named church. Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego.
